Sunday July 5th.  I took my Grandson  and several of his friends from Boy Scouts out fishing in Shinnecock Bay…

The kids had a ball catching a bunch of Shorts, skates and dog fish… they were great and a pleasure to have on board.. They did an even better job cleaning up the boat.. I think they want to go again…:)

BFT at the Coimbra Wreck

Yesterday Wednesday morning I did a family trip with my cousins over to the Coimbra  Wreck.  There were lots of whales, birds, and bait but no Tuna.  We trolled all morning chasing whales when I saw a pod of birds diving. The tuna had a pod of sand ells up on the surface. I trolled right by the boil of mass confusion and two rods went off.

Fluke at Coast Guard Station

Went for a dinner cruise with my wife and daughter by Coast Guard station…  Started throwing a bucktail second cast got a decent fluke 4.45 pounds

Bay Shore to Indian Cove

I was a beautiful day on Friday… The conditions were right to run the boat from Bay Shore to Indian Cove Shinnecock…. So I got the kids to make the trip with the promise of doing some fishing along the way.
Before it started to Blow we did drop in at the Shinnecock reef and inside the bay as well.
It was a fun trip… Everyone had a good time and most importantly the Boat ran Perfectly !!
Sunday I am going to change out the “Breaking In Oil”. I have just over 25 Hrs on the motors.
Now let the Fun and the season Begin. I think this year would be a good time to do a Club Over Night Canyon Trip.
